PLATEAU STATE APC YOUTH LEADER HON. DANJUMA SELKONG BALI CALLS FOR RESTRAINT AFTER PRESIDENTIAL VISIT.

Following the visit of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu(GCFR) to Plateau State on Thursday April 2 2026 to commiserate with victims after the aftermath of the unfortunate terrorist attacks on the Angwan Rukuba Metropolis in Jos Nigeria on Palm Sunday March 29 2026 the All Progressives Congress( APC) Youth leader in the State Hon.Danjuma Selkong Bali has appealled to Plateau youth not to take the law into their hands by resorting to violence as security is the job of all citizens irrespective of creed or religious affiliations.
While sympathizing with those who lost loved ones during the terrorist attacks the leader noted that it was proactive for the President to visit during the trying time while debunking insinuations that Mr President didn't pay personal visits to affected groups.
Hon Bali said government at all levels including the State Government led by his H.E Barrister Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang is working round the clock to bring the perpetrators of this heinous crimes to book alongside the various security agencies in the State and beyond.
The youth leader disclosed that Plateau remains an oasis of peace despite the efforts of crisis merchants to plunge the State into avoidable chaos.
He reiterated that under his watch Plateau Youths will remain law abiding and will seek justice through all available legal means to provide succour and closure to all those affected by the unfortunate and evil acts carried out by non state actors in a bid to undermine the relative peace on the Plateau and also appreciated the proactiveness of the Federal Government ably led by President Tinubu who didn't abandon Plateau at these trying time.
