BREAKING NEWS: SENATOR DAVID MARK EMERGES AS NEW ADP NATIONAL CHAIRMAN



Senator David Mark has emerged as the National Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), securing 1,471 votes at the party’s national convention held in Abuja on Tuesday, 14 April 2026. The election was conducted with full participation of accredited delegates.

The convention, held at the Rainbow Event Centre in the Federal Capital Territory, concluded successfully despite earlier venue challenges and external pressures. Party officials confirmed that proceedings were orderly, with voting conducted peacefully.

In addition to the leadership election, the convention ratified key party decisions, including the expulsion of some members over disciplinary issues. The gathering also showcased unity among party stakeholders amid ongoing internal disputes.
