A Frontline Senatorial aspirant for the Plateau South Senatorial Constituency seat and a retired Air Vice Marshall in the Nigeria Air Force Senator Napoleon Binkan Bali has assured his teeming supporters and stakeholders in the Zone that they should be rest assured that he will reclaim the seat he lost in an Appeal Court judgment following the 2023 general elections in Plateau State.
Speaking with select journalists on the sidelines of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Plateau State Congress which held at the Langfield event Centre in Jos, Nigeria on Tuesday 3 March 2026 the retired Air Chief and renowned military commander said he has put the past behind him and is now looking forward to the 2027 elections without bitterness.
Senator Bali said his new campaign is centered on his people in the Southern Zone on the Plateau and the focus will be on empowering them with security, welfare and enabling laws in the Nigerian Senate that will ensure their interests at all times because public service is a trust bestowed.
He revealed that he joined the APC having seen that Plateau unity is paramount to any selfish individual interest while aligning with the "The time is now Administration" of Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang whom according to him has practiced politics without bitterness.
The retired Air Chief pointed out President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as a team player and promised that Plateau has already keyed into the "Renewed Hope Agenda" hence the realignments across the State.
He noted a rancour free State congress devoid of violence or bickering and assured that Plateau State as the "Home of Peace and Tourism" will set a template and a model for other states in Nigeria to follow in the run up to the 2027 elections and urged his supporters to remain calm, peaceful and maintain decorum as he will introduce security bills into the national assembly that will be revolutionary and once more make Plateau an oasis of peace and tranquility in North Central Nigeria while making the human capital development of his people in the Southern Zone paramount in his agenda.
