PLATEAU APPRECIATES PRESIDENT TINUBU FOR APPOINTING OUR PEOPLE - RUFUS BATURE

The Plateau State APC chairman Hon Rufus Bature has applauded President Bola Ahmed TInubu (GCFR) for appointing Plateau sons and daughters into key positions in his government noting especially that of the APC national Chairman Professor Nentawe Yilwatda whom he said brings a lot of experience to the job.

Going down memory lane the State party leader recalled that in the 2023 general election it was difficult to convince Plateau people to vote for a Muslim/Muslim ticket while observing that despite the setbacks the APC was able to come 12 in the presidential election in the State.

Speaking further Mr Bature said he has never been part of the "Plateau party " but has rather been on the side of the people in all his political pursuits as a sacrificial Iamb

The APC Chairman said two years ago he would not have believed that a Plateau citizen would be natonal Chairman of the ruling party as he commended the President for reposing confidence in Professor Nentawe.

He noted that President TInubu means well for Nigeria and has gambled with his second tenure considering his far reaching reforms in all sectors but none the less urged every Nigerian to embrace the "Renewed Hope" agenda as there is light at the end of the tunnel
