PLATEAU STATE POLICE COMMAND LIST SUCCESSES AGAINST CRIMINALS VOW TO MAKE STATE CRIME FREE.

The Plateau State Police Command under the leadership of CP Emmanuel Adesina at it's monthly press briefing held at the Command's headquarters in Jos,Nigeria on Tuesday August 26 2025 intimated the general public on the gains made so far in fighting criminality under his watch.
During the parley 3 suspected notorious highway robbers who also specialize in kidnapping were paraded with CP Adesina noting the success of the arrest to reliable intelligence information gathered with the cooperation of responsible members of the public who volunteered vital information leading to their arrest.
The police boss said "These operational successes are not only a testament of the diligence and commitment of our officers but also the collaborative spirit of Plateau citizens and synthetic support from officers and men of our sister security agencies and for this I commend you all"
"The State police command recieved a report on 13 August 2025 from some residents of Kishika area of BInchi village of Bassa local government council where they alleged that they were robbed on July 27 2025 on their way from the Bukuru cattle market after selling 3 cows by the bandits who operated with locally fabricated AK 47 rifles.
"During this attack they were robbed of the sum of about N1.9 million which was proceeds from the sale of their cows."
"After receiving the reports our team of detectives from the Bassa division of the NPF swung into action and as a result the following suspects were arrested having been linked to the offence; one Jafaru Sale(M) Abdulsalam Adam(M) and Mamuda Musa(M) wherein they confessed responsibility for violent crimes along the Bassa/Jengre axis of the State"
"The Command also acting on credible intelligence recieved deployed a crack team from our Langtang South division raided the house of one Kokyak a suspected gun runner in Mabudi on 18 August 2025 who is alleged to supply hoodlums and criminal elements with guns"
"On reaching the house our team discovered that the suspect had fled to an unknown destination and upon executing a search warrant on the premises one locally fabricated rifle with an empty magazine was recovered while efforts are underway to bring the culprit to Justice"
CP Adesina commended the Plateau State Governor Barrister Caleb Mannaseh Muttwang and the Inspector General of Police including the good citizens of Plateau State for being partners in progress in the relentless drive to make Plateau State and environs a no go area for criminal elements and their enablers.
