PLATEAU PUBLISHER ASSOCIATION (PPA) MOURNS WITH APC NATIONAL CHAIRMAN PROF. NENTAWE OVER MOTHER'S DEMISE.


The EXCO,BoT and members of the Plateau Publishers Association recieved with deep shock and sadness the news of the passing of the beloved mother of the National Chairman of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC),Prof Nentawe Yilwatda Goshwe,Mama Lydia Yilwatda who passed on at the Jos University Teaching Hospital (JUTH) at the age of 83 years.

Speaking on behalf of the PPA the Chairman Prince Daniel John Bok said;
"It is indeed painful to lose a mother much less one who was a matriarch and on behalf of the whole membership of the Association I convey our deepest condolences to Prof.Yilwatda.We pray that God grants him and the entire Yilwatda family the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss and may Almighty God grant the deceased  eternal repose"

Prince Bok assured that PPA stand in solid with the family at this difficult and pray that the good lord comfort them.

Onjefu Odaudu,Jos  A former Member who represented Jos South/Jos East federal constituency in the 9th assembly in the house of representatives Honourable Dachung Musa Bagos has clarified that his passion for the younger generation is to mould them for a productive future. About 20 Soldiers Killed In Deadly Bandit Attack On Military Camp In Niger State

In a tragic escalation of violence in Nigeria’s North-Central region, about 20 soldiers were reportedly killed in the early hours of Tuesday during a fierce attack by armed bandits on a military camp near Bangi, in Mariga Local Government Area of Niger State. The deadly ambush, which occurred around dawn on June 24, 2025, saw the heavily armed assailants overrun the camp after a sustained gun battle.
