ANOTHER VOTE FOR THE PLATEAU STATE MINISTERIAL SLOT

The politics of who replaces Prof.Nentawe Yilwatda as Minister has reached a fever pitch already.

  

Unlike other times, the stakes are much higher now, considering the  remarkably ethereal pace set by Prof. Nentawe as Minister of Humanitarian  Affairs.

What this implies literally is that there are hardly any rooms left for social sabotage  and other entrenched 

desperate schemes like the mischief, currently employed by a section of aspiring gladiators,to undo perceived opponents. 

As experienced in the 2023 polls, where APC lost the election, they were tipped to win blindfolded, the tools  enlisted to rally support by some of these ministerial hopefuls, aren't just a dousted relics of the 2023's misadventures, but a plot giving to suck the little oxygen left in the party's lungs. It is a toxic and uncontrollably evil attested to  and rejected by every  conscienable party folk.

Surely, with Prof.Nentawe Yilwatda Goshwe as APC National chairman, and the fact that he is a decorated victim of these shenanigans, it is natural to expect that issues like ethical  democracy which  embodies fairplay are not just assured but the usual avalanche of manipulation or tragic disregards for the rule of law,social justice, and superior logic, associated with the party will no longer be tolerated.

 Thus,ragtag strategies like  "identity politics" renowned for consequences as devastating and aviodable as the catastrophic defeat APC suffered in Plateau state,and are likely to be dragged into future contests given the  state of desperation must be avoided and trashed. 

The seemingly  fixated illogic,contained in the unbelievably pedestrian, callous, and insidious social media campaigns,mounted  against one of the most unlikely cream of the APC crops in Nigeria is a case in point. 

Of course, the entire APC  family and other networks of conscienable actors across the globe, are alarmed,outraged, and mortified by this rare act of indiscretion and thoughtless attacks on the person and reputation of a distinguished gentleman like Sen.Timothy Adudu.

What makes the group's inundating perspectives and accusations wayward and deserving of the venomous reactions particularly, as it's obvious that the campaigns isn't driven by the village-like malice alone  but such a clinical mass of misled illiterates and dull publicists,who clearly neither know anything about Dist.Sen.Adudu nor the least about public communication ethics nor cyber rule in this country. 

The benefactors of these functional illiterates couldn't set any boundaries for them either,that's why it was easy for the dime a dozen hoodlums to indulge in this kind  of brazen misinformation that bothers heavily on  criminal libel.

 In their calumnous crusade,they, in an all- out-efforts to malign and pitch the party against  the reverred Sen Adudu, they accused and bizarrely threaten to report the refined legal luminary and accomplished public servant of incompetence, dereliction of duty and inability to promote his party-APC!

This is ridiculous and profoundly inconsistent with both who Dist.Sen.Adudu is and, particularly,his verifiably resourceful, warm , and loyal relationship with his party-APC. 

And, as a matter of fact, the Plateau state chapter  of APC in its well considered Press Statement  of 19th February, 2025, authoritatively enunciated its state of relationship with Sen. Adudu ,who is the current North-Central Representative at the Federal Roads Maintenance Agency (FERMA) . The statement did due diligence with its colorful

 corroboration of the  Senator's responsive and loyal nature. Signed by its publicity  secretary, Hon.Shittu Bamayi, the release acknowledges and showers praises on Sen.Adudu and other appointees for their productive and diligent memberships. It went further to loud their marked efforts in grassroots development and ultimately the Renewed Hope Agenda of Mr. President.

Bamaiyi also highlighted how the combined efforts of the current lawmakers and notable appointees like Sen.Adudu and Professor Garba Sharubutu had boosted the party’s image and acceptability by delivering relevant projects such as :

Schools, Roads,Clinics,Boreholes,etc.

Thus, it amounts to an illiterate endeavor to single out the Senator just because you feel harassed, intimidated, and unavoidably threatened by his towering standing and professional competence to handle any such highstakes responsibilities like national assignments. 

As a test and confirmation of genuine political and community popularity, Senator (Barrister) Adudu, from a well vilified and blacklisted opposition party on the  Plateau known as APP, Adudu contested and resoundingly defeated the  ruling PDP in 2003, and became the pride of the Nigerian 4th Senate. His  term witnessed a flurry of landmark bills,motions, and physical development of his constituency. There was hardly any vital national draft that went without Adudu being part of laying the legal framework. 

 He, in a noteshell, represented the Plateau North Senatorial district  with rare distinction.

Therefore, such weird and defamatory attacks on an innocent man adjudged as a man with a rare and admirable blend  of characteristics; always steadfast in his convictions, is no doubt insane and an embarrassing failure of logic on the part of the goons' patrons. And should be condemned by the party, and compulsorily, be avoided in moments as  serious as filling the vacancy created by Prof . Nentawe's resignation.

Dist.Sen.Adudu  is largely a beacon of intergrity, well grounded, authentic, and a simple soul by the state's recogning. But make no mistakes; The Senator's simplicity and easygoing nature isnt necessarily the lack of political depth or any such inadequacies, but  only hides what can be described as a foundation of deep character, intergrity, and principles. Sen.Adudu has a verifiably strong internal compass that guides his thoughts and actions. He is remarkably honest,dependable, and moral,not because he wants praises but that's simply who he is! As a nature, he rejects the  unnecessary complexity and pretense prevalent in the system. He's uncomplicated, and you can trust that what you see is what you get with him! Adudu will also stand up for what is right,even if it's not the popular choice. Adudu doesn't seek the spotlight  or loud recognition because he knows better. His strength isn't in domineering public conversations like others but in his calm demeanor and thoughtful presence.

The reason that Sen Adudu doesn't engage in drama and mind games doesn't make him less of a contemporary politician and leader.

 Sen.Adudu will always be as sacrificial as to roll with the punches,never getting flustered over small things like others.

And considering the charred situation we found ourselves, we need this kind of leader, who is as observant and reflective as Adudu,not easily swayed  by  sycophancy. His actions as witnessed are always aligned with his verified values.

Therefore  my good and dependable Plateau people and leaders, in a country where politics of contents and values remain the desired paradigm to crystallize development,  and actualization of our collective aspirations, it requires men of character and determination to initiate the ideas and purvey rhe blueprint for the transformation of the society. 

Thus,the likes of

 Plato,Aristotle, and Socratis have had their places secured in history as the shapers of modern society and democratic governance. 

Ladies and gentlemen, we must thank God,and we have every reason to remain grateful as Plateau state aspires and strives to join the rest of the country in achieving development and enhanced ways of life, we have our own man,a brother, mentor, and cross bearer, who is ready and resolved to deliver quality life and fulfilled dreams.

I'm certainly pleading our collective cause as I present the Distinguished  Senator Timothy Adudu as one of the credible possible choices for  the vacant Plateau MINISTERIAL SLOT. This is the one last vote hanging that if cast will make for an appropriate replacement.
