APC HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY ASPIRANT ASSISTS PARTY EXCO WITH FARM INPUTS


The 2023 APC House of Assembly candidate for Langtang North-Central Constituency, Hon. Nanbol Josiah Gommam, has reached out to at least five members of the ward executives of the All Progressives Congress from each of the nine Federal Wards that made up the constituency, alongside the 13 LGA EXCO members from the constituency with farm inputs to ameliorate their farming activities.

By reason of the aspiring lawmaker's benevolence, no fewer than 54 executive members of APC from Langtang North-Central constituency went home with various quantities of herbicides and other incentives, in a timely move to ease the burdens of providing food for their respective families.

As custodians of the party who devote their times and energies in  working to advance the fortunes of APC, Hon. Gommam is of the strong believe that the party exco are deserving of utmost care and assistance from fellow party members at such moments.

Presenting the herbicides on behalf of Hon. Gommam, Barr Nandom Kura laments the neglect party officials who carry the burden of preaching APC in the nooks and crannies of the constituency often experience after elections and eulogized Gommam as a rare breed of politician who  has his people at heart at all times, whether in victory or defeat.

The gesture, according to Kura was a sheer exhibition of Hon. Gommam's innate philanthropic disposition and a pointer to the good tidings that wait the people of the constituency when elected to the state legislature in 2027.

Kura appealed to other Ward Exco members who were not captured in the distribution, to not feel offended by Gommam's inability to provide for all the Exco members because of scare resources. He promised to reach out to them at the appropriate time, maintaining that those who were not captured were not regarded as less important in the scheme of things, but that they would carried along subsequently.

Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, the LGA Youth Leader, Haruna Ringnap Danjuma, appreciated the aspiring lawmaker for the gesture and charged other politicians of the APC stock to borrow a leaf from his generosity and deep-seated love for the party.

Speakers at the presentation ceremony held at Myemee Hotel, Lohmak in Jat Ward, took turns to extol the large heart of the aspiring lawmaker and wished him success in all his endeavors.

About 20 Soldiers Killed In Deadly Bandit Attack On Military Camp In Niger State

In a tragic escalation of violence in Nigeria’s North-Central region, about 20 soldiers were reportedly killed in the early hours of Tuesday during a fierce attack by armed bandits on a military camp near Bangi, in Mariga Local Government Area of Niger State.
